JOB VACANCY: ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ACCOUNTANT

Ultismart Interiors Ltd is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Accountant to strengthen its Finance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, proper reconciliation of customer accounts, and effective reporting to support healthy cash flow and sound financial management.

Key Responsibilities

The Accounts Receivable Accountant will be responsible for preparing and issuing accurate customer invoices while ensuring all billing information and customer master data are correctly maintained. The role involves processing customer payments, posting receipts, reconciling accounts, and resolving any discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.

The position also requires active follow-up on overdue accounts, monitoring receivables aging reports, maintaining positive customer relationships, and escalating complex credit or collection issues when necessary. The accountant will assist during month-end closing activities, prepare accounts receivable reports, and support management with cash flow and collection analysis.

In addition, the role involves maintaining organized financial records, responding to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.

Minimum Qualifications
  • CPA Intermediate level (CPA Advanced or finalist will be an added advantage)

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field will be an added advantage

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting

  • Previous experience in an FMCG or fast-paced environment is preferred

  • Proficiency in accounting and ERP software

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with close attention to detail

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Ultismart Interiors Ltd is seeking a reliable, disciplined, and safety-conscious Driver to support its logistics and operational activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods, staff, and company materials while maintaining a positive representation of the company on the road.

Key Responsibilities

The Driver will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles in strict compliance with traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company transport policies. This includes transporting goods and staff to various destinations in a timely and efficient manner while planning optimal routes to minimize delays and fuel consumption.

The role also involves conducting routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition. The Driver will monitor fuel levels, tire pressure, fluid levels, and general vehicle cleanliness, promptly reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns to ensure timely maintenance and minimal downtime.

Additionally, the Driver will assist with minor vehicle maintenance tasks, support repair processes when required, and ensure all vehicle documentation such as insurance, inspection stickers, and licenses, is valid and up to date. Accurate delivery records must be maintained, and professionalism upheld at all times when interacting with customers, staff, and partners.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid Kenyan Driving License (D2 or BCE, depending on vehicle category)

  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven driving experience

  • Experience driving in rough, off-road, or high-traffic environments is an added advantage

  • Training in defensive driving and basic vehicle maintenance is an added advantage

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
