Dura Coat Silicone Exterior Emulsion is a premium-grade exterior paint engineered with advanced organo-silicone technology to deliver outstanding water repellency, long-lasting durability, and superior colour protection. Its breathable film structure allows trapped moisture to escape naturally, reducing the risk of peeling, blistering, or flaking. This hydrophobic property creates a natural self-cleaning effect, helping exterior walls resist dirt and stay cleaner for longer. Formulated with strong resistance to mould, algae, and microbial growth, the coating preserves its fresh, vibrant appearance even under harsh weather conditions.

For optimal performance, surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned, dried, and freed from dust, loose paint, grease, or mould. Cracks and imperfections must be repaired using the appropriate Dura Coat fillers, and newly plastered surfaces must be fully dry before painting. Previously painted walls should be scraped and stripped where necessary. In humid or fungus-prone areas, applying a bio-wash solution before painting is highly recommended.

Application involves three coats: the first acting as a primer diluted with up to 40% clean water, followed by two finishing coats diluted with up to 20% clean water. Each coat requires a 4-hour drying interval. The paint offers an impressive spread rate of 13–15 m² per litre on smooth plaster surfaces, with reduced coverage on textured walls. It dries to the touch within 30 minutes and is suitable for recoating after 4 hours. With low VOC levels, it meets modern environmental standards while ensuring excellent breathability and long-term surface protection.

After use, the product should be sealed tightly and stored in a cool, dry place, where it remains reusable for up to one month. Proper safety measures—such as ensuring ventilation, avoiding skin or eye contact, and using protective equipment—are essential during use. Post-application, stains should be removed promptly using mild soap or detergent, and the surface allowed to cure for one week before washing.
