Duracoat Vinylmatt Emulsion is a premium-quality paint designed for interior and exterior walls, providing a smooth, low-sheen matte finish that enhances any space with elegance and durability. Suitable for new or previously painted surfaces such as cement plaster, brick, ceilings, hardboards, and fair-faced concrete, it delivers long-lasting colour retention and superior resistance to ultraviolet radiation, ensuring vibrant shades that do not fade. The paint offers excellent washability, making it easy to maintain, and is formulated with high-performance pigments and binder technology for both aesthetic appeal and reliable surface protection.

For optimal performance, surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, loose paint, mould, algae, or moss. Cracks and holes should be repaired with Duracoat Permafill Flexible Crackfiller, and surfaces affected by fungal growth should be treated with Duracoat Fungicidal Wash. Fresh masonry with high alkalinity should be primed using Duracoat Alkali Resistant Primer to ensure proper adhesion and prevent efflorescence. New or unpainted surfaces require no priming, but must be free of impurities before painting.

Duracoat Vinylmatt is applied in 2–3 coats using a brush, roller, or spray. The first coat is diluted with up to 15% clean water, and subsequent coats with up to 10% clean water, allowing approximately 4 hours between coats. The paint dries to touch in 10–15 minutes and can be recoated after 1–2 hours. Surfaces should be stirred thoroughly before and during application. Dark or low-opacity colours may require additional coats. Proper precautions include ensuring adequate ventilation, storing the product in a cool, dry area away from heat sources, avoiding skin and eye contact, and using personal protective equipment. After application, stains should be removed promptly with mild soap or detergent, and surfaces should be allowed to cure for one week before washing or cleaning.
