Crown Damp Protect is suitable for exterior walls, basements, bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas exposed to high humidity or water seepage. It can be applied to plastered walls, concrete, masonry, and other porous surfaces to prevent damp-related damage and improve wall durability.

Surface Preparation

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and loose material. Repair cracks, holes, or damaged areas with a suitable filler and allow to dry completely. For previously painted surfaces, remove flaking paint and sand lightly to achieve a smooth base before application.

Application Method

Apply using a brush, roller, or spray equipment in thin, even coats. For highly porous or weathered surfaces, a second coat may be applied to achieve optimal protection. Allow sufficient drying time between coats to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Coverage & Drying Time

Coverage varies depending on surface porosity and texture, typically ranging from 8–10 m² per litre per coat. The coating becomes touch-dry within 1–2 hours and fully dries in 4–6 hours, depending on environmental conditions.
