Duracoat Superfast Emulsion is a premium trade-quality emulsion paint designed for interior walls and ceilings, delivering a smooth, matt finish with excellent hiding power. Its porous film allows new surfaces to breathe and dry easily, while the use of lead-free pigments ensures the paint is non-toxic and safe for indoor environments. Suitable for new unpainted cement, plaster, hardboards, or previously painted surfaces, Duracoat Superfast Emulsion offers outstanding durability, superior flow, and even levelling for a flawless, long-lasting finish.<\/p>\n

Surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry, and free from dust, loose particles, or grease. Cracks and surface defects should be filled using the appropriate Duracoat crack filler, followed by the recommended primer. For smooth and uniform surfaces, Duracoat Smotex Lite or Internal\/External Skim Coat is recommended for skimming prior to painting. On new cement or plaster surfaces, 2\u20133 coats are advised. Hardboards and plasterboards should first be primed with Duracoat White or Pink Wood Primer, then coated with 2\u20133 layers of Superfast Emulsion. Previously painted walls in good condition should be sanded, cleaned, dust-free, and painted with 2\u20133 coats of the emulsion for optimal results.<\/p>\n

Duracoat Superfast Emulsion can be applied using a brush, roller, or conventional spray, with thinning up to 40% using clean water for brush or roller applications; spray applications may require additional thinning to achieve the correct viscosity. The emulsion spreads at approximately 12\u201314 m\u00b2 per litre on smooth, non-porous surfaces, dries to the touch in 20\u201330 minutes, and can be recoated after 3 hours. Surfaces should be stirred thoroughly before and during use, and care should be taken to paint in consistent strokes. Dark or low-opacity shades may require an additional coat for full coverage. Proper precautions include ensuring good ventilation during application and drying, avoiding skin and eye contact, using personal protective equipment, and storing the product in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from fire or heat sources. In high-humidity or fungus-prone areas, pre-treat surfaces with a bio-wash solution to remove mould, fungal spores, or algae. Post-application, any stains should be removed immediately using mild soap or detergent, and painted surfaces should be allowed to cure before washing or cleaning.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
